The audience viewer presents name, shots and sums in real time during shooting.
The solution is based on a standard Windows program. This means that regular PC screens or video projectors can be used. Technically a TV can be connected, but this technology provides terrible resolution with practically useless images.
The system is designed to be installed on one PC in the network only. Access to the viewer and management are obtained from any PC in the network without any installation. The common configuration management is particulary useful since this eliminates the need for running around the range to manage individual PC's.
Even the change between different events withing a large competiton is handled without need for local changes on each viewer!
With MLView it is very easy to configure different pictures depending on needs/requirements for each competition or event. You are free to descide to use one screens with all the information on on picture or a few alternating pictures or you can have more screens with different static pictures.
With this new generation viewer you can also mix targets from several ranges in one picture. You can also mix graphical and list based view in the same picture! Actually the same target can be displayed in different modes on same picture (see example above)....
When the viewer is started it will automatically follow the activity at the range and the office. When the range office changes the relay, the MLView will do the same. Even a new competition is handled automatically. Changes in names at the office are updated automatically in the viewer if the name is in use.
All sums are updated after each shot.
All changes in the configuration of the range management program, will be handled dynamically by MLView. This is true even for changes in target type, shooting program, valuesystem etc.
Sighting shots and open final shots can be displayed in real time. For closed finals there will be no marking for the shooters or the audience during the shooting. After shooting is finished the range office starts the final marking system in MLRange. In this mode the range officer selects wich target to mark. This target is displayed on all the monitors and the audience screen. The marking is then done shot by shot for the complete series. The range officer then changes to the next target.
MLView handles this marking automatically according to the range officers management in MLRange.
Graphical views are used for ISSF finals. The qualification sum is included in the total and there is a possibility to use a ranking number that is updated for each shot. This provides superb overview.
A special mode with emphasis on the last shot is often used in this kind of final.
